Brief introduction
- Underground (buried) transformers are new generation transformers designed and built to meet the needs of urban development and infrastructure construction. It is used for roads, bridges, tunnels and other long-distance, low load high voltage transmission and distribution system.
- Product is suitable for three-phase 50HZ, 10kv class underground transmission and distribution system, and widely used for the power supply and lightening for state expressways, airports, bridges, large green areas, high-tech parks, and etc.

Features
- Buried transformer is usually installed in the manhole of trench or in a small pit. A special design under ultra-low temperature is adopted considering the singularity of this kind of environment. Features include low loss, low noise, compact size, nice shape, strong overload capacity, maintenance free during life cycle, reliable tightness, strong mechanical properties and anti-corrosion resistance.
- Energy saving, pleasing appearance and reliable performance. No-load loss of this product is reduced by 30% compared to S9 series. Waterproof structure and full line insulation and screening for both line input and transformer output. No-exposed live parts are also waterproof sealed, with full insulation and screening characteristics. To further enhance the reliability, high voltage fuse is on request, for low voltage outlet, either sealed cable boxes or cable plug is available.
- Corrosion-resistant steel and a special anti-corrosion processing technology are used for tank construction, shell protection grade up to IP68.
- Advanced welding process, high voltage elbow flange and other parts are welded to the tank body to ensure complete tightness.
- In addition to the requirements of national standards, the water immersion test is also conducted to ensure the reliability and endurance of transformers when immersed in water or mud.
